DMA/LA Forums :

DMALA.org currently has four forums, which are described below. Click on the headers for each description to go directly to that forum; the index is available at www.dmala.org/forum5. Note that you can bookmark these pages when you get there, and then return to them directly.

Registration required to use the forums (this was instituted to help thwart spam posts). For information on how to format your messages, including how to embed links, view this forum posting.

DMA/LA Cafe

The intention of this forum is to continue the discussions that occur during DMA/LA meetings (as well as during the breaks). Virtually any subject in the motion graphics universe is fair game; we just ask that you exercise the same decorum as you would in face-to-face interactions at our meetings.

Jobs Available

This forum is reserved for the posting of jobs available (please include company name and location, and any closing deadline if applicable). If you have a question, do not reply to the forum; click on the name of the person who made the original post to email them directly.

People & Services Available

This forum is for the posting of people or services available. This includes freelancers, studios, interns, and service bureaus. Please limit your posts to twice a year per company or individual.

Announcements & Special Events

If you have a special event, special offer, training seminar, trade show, or other press release of interest to the motion graphics community, please feel free to post it here.

To borrow a phrase from online community pioneer The Well, "You Own Your Own Words." This means you accept full responsibility (and any liability) for your statements. If anyone wishes to quote your postings, they must receive your explicit permission. DMA/LA does not take credit nor blame for the discussions that take place here. However, in extreme circumstances, we reserve the right to delete posts that range too far off topic, violate the spirit or the letter of the descriptions above, or are detrimental to the civility of the community (for example, attacking another member personally, or unsubstantiated slams against a vendor).

We're very proud of the helpful, inclusive community DMA/LA has become, and hope our online extension here continues the theme.
